How to make a sudoku
- 1Pick a difficulty. Choose easy, medium, hard, extreme or evil. Each board is graded by the hardest solving step it needs, so harder really is harder. The tool shows you which, the same grading our KDP studio uses.
- 2Generate the board. Press Generate puzzle. You get a fresh 9 by 9 grid with exactly one solution, in a large-print layout that is easy to solve on paper.
- 3Print the two pages. Press Print / save PDF. You get two pages: the puzzle on page one and its solution on page two, sized for clean printing or a PDF.

- Each board is graded by the hardest technique it needs to solve, not just the number of givens. Easy boards fall to simple scanning, the middle grades need locked candidates and pairs, extreme needs advanced logic like triples and the X-wing, and evil can need trial and error. The tool shows the hardest step and a difficulty meter for the board it made.
