Pricing questions ## Before you pay ### Personalised picture books **How much does a personalised children’s book cost?** A personalised Once Books picture book costs $9.99 as an instant digital download: a full book starring your child, a print-ready PDF and a private read-along link, paid once with no subscription. Printed editions are $49 for a hardcover and $69 for the premium gift edition, both coming soon. Making a book and previewing it costs nothing. **Is the price I see the price I pay?** Yes. The listed price is the final amount, with any sales tax or VAT included rather than added at checkout. A digital book has nothing to ship, so there is no delivery charge either. When printed editions launch, their shipping is bundled into the listed price the same way. **Can I get a refund?** You preview the book before you pay, so a delivered digital purchase is final. That is the trade: instead of a refund window you get to read the opening pages, regenerate any page you do not like and only then decide. If something is wrong with a book you bought, write to us and we will put it right. **Do I pay before I see my book?** No. You start every book free and preview its opening pages; you pay only when you are happy, to open the full book and download the print-ready PDF. Nothing is charged while you are still making it. **What is the difference between the formats?** Digital is an instant, print-ready PDF plus a private read-along link, available today. You pay $4.99 for each book you decide to publish, and a book you have already unlocked stays unlocked. **What does the $4.99 unlock cover?** One project, which is one book. Once it is unlocked you can export that project's interior and wraparound cover (and a separate answer-key PDF for the puzzle books) as often as you like, at any trim size and for any print platform we support, for as long as you have the account. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel. **Is every publisher tool the same price?** Yes. Word searches, sudoku, crosswords, 3D spatial puzzles, journals and planners all unlock for $4.99 per project. The tools that are not live yet will be the same price when they ship. **Can I build a whole book before I pay?** Yes. Generating every puzzle or planner page and previewing the whole book on screen at your chosen trim is free, with the print guides shown. Payment unlocks the download, so you can see exactly what you are buying first. **Do I pay again to change the trim size?** No. The trim, the binding, the paper, the platform and the styling are chosen per export, not baked into the book. Re-exporting an unlocked project at a different size or for a different store costs nothing and does not regenerate a single page. **Can I sell what I export?** Yes. The exported interiors are yours to publish and sell on Amazon KDP or print yourself. The per-project unlock covers unlimited exports of that project. **What do the free tools on this site cost?** Nothing, and they need no account. Each generator makes its page in your browser with no sign-up and no watermark, one puzzle or one page at a time.
