About six minutes for a 16-page book. Pages are generated in parallel, so you can start reviewing the early ones while the rest finish.

Most of that time is generation, which runs on a queue rather than one page at a time. Once it’s done you reorder pages, regenerate any you want to change, and export — there’s no long wait between steps.
