# Do I own my personalised book, and can I print or sell it?

You keep everything you upload, and generated pages belong to you for personal and commercial use, subject to the AI provider’s terms. Ownership of AI-generated images still varies by country, so if commercial rights are central to your project, check before you rely on them.

You keep ownership of what you upload and write. Generated illustrations are yours to print and use, subject to the terms of the AI provider that produced them, which is set out in our [terms](https://www.oncebooks.com/terms). Because the law on AI-generated images is still moving and differs by country, a commissioned illustrator can give you a cleaner answer on defensible copyright than we can; we say so plainly on the [illustration cost page](https://www.oncebooks.com/illustration-cost).
